Converto is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what does and does not happen to your data.
Your images never leave your device
All image conversion happens locally in your web browser using the standard HTML Canvas API. The images you select are never uploaded, transmitted, copied, or stored on our servers — for the simple reason that we have no servers that receive your files.
What we do not collect
- We do not upload or store your images.
- We do not require an account, email, or any personal information.
- We do not keep a copy of converted files. They exist only in your browser and are discarded when you close or refresh the page.
Basic analytics & hosting logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit) for security and performance purposes. These logs do not include the content of any images you convert, because those images are never sent to the server. If we ever add analytics or advertising, this policy will be updated to describe it.
Cookies
The core converter works without cookies. If third-party services (such as analytics or ads) are added later, any cookies they use will be disclosed here.
